Multiplying disciples and churches across Berkshire County and the Northeast until every person and place is reached for Jesus.
We always knew Berkshire County, Massachusetts was dark, but it was still a shock when we discovered that only 2% of our population would identify as Bible-believing Christians--leaving 98% as an unreached people group. Those are numbers you would typically see overseas, but here was a red zone, right in our backyard. With a desire to reach the Northeast for Jesus, Milltown Movement birthed with a vision to cultivate a collective of simple churches united in discipleship, evangelism, and church multiplication.
1. We abide in Christ deeply. (John 15:5)2. We submit to the Scriptures as sufficient in all things. (2 Tim. 3:16-17)3. We seek to advance the Kingdom among every people and in every place. (Matt. 28:18-20)4. We uphold the Priesthood of Believers. (1 Pet. 2:9)5. We collaborate with the global body of Christ. (1 Cor. 12:12-13)6. We work together in community. (Heb. 10:24-25)
Our beliefs are inspired by the word of God and can be viewed via the link below:

Milltown Movement has a vision to establish a collective network of Simple Churches spread throughout Berkshire County. Currently we gather in Pittsfield, Massachusetts.A Simple Church is a community of followers of Jesus committed to one another and the mission of the Gospel. We are pursuing to love God, love people, share Jesus, and do it together. We believe the most impactful way to experience AND express both the love and mission of Jesus is through smaller transformational communities and relationships. We gather together regularly to worship and fellowship in meeting spaces throughout our community. Our pursuit is to embody the characteristics spoken in Acts 2:42 where we see a commitment to the word of God, prayer, deep relationships, and the Lord's Supper. When we are together, we pursue to be personal over programmed, participatory over passive, and in relationships instead of sitting in rows. Each house has a shepherding leader(s) that is stewarding the disciple making ministry of the Simple Church. For more info please contact us here:
